DLE Fuel Consumption
Happy Fathers Day!I am going to put 2 DLE 20's on my TF B-25. I want to Replace the 14oz tanks with 12oz tanks. The engines will be running at 3/4 power most of the time.Question, will I get 7 mins of run time at 3/4 throttle on a 12oz tank?

My 40cc engines use 1.5 ounces per minute. You would be cutting close with a 12 ounce tank. Dan.

I run 11 oz tanks on the 30cc sized engines I run (OS 33 and DLE35). I run these at 2/3rds throttle mostly which for my set-up is around 6500 rpm. I get around 15 minutes run time with about 2 ozs left in the tank.
Your 20 should work plenty long enough on 12 oz gas. I'd guess at least 10 minutes unless you are turning pretty high rpm

RE: DLE Fuel Consumption
I used between a 1/3 and 1/2 of a tank on this flight, using an apc 17/6

I've yet to run one out of fuel in 15 min of flying at 3/4 throttle on everything from a 1/5 biplane to 60 size warbirds using a 10oz tank. An extra 4-5 ozs of fuel adds some weight. I use 17x6 zoar props running 8500-9000
