RE: ...Royal SRS here (UK)
Been playing with mine for a couple of weeks. Really nice bit of kit that deserves the 'Royal' name now!
Waiting to get more details on the PowerBus

Champion is already released!
Dave, do you know much about the PowerBus yet? The box the servos plug into seem surprisingly large. Are they doing anything super fancy as the PB boys usually manage?

The website states that telemetry is available for Spektrum, M-Link and Hott systems.
I know there may be issues with getting all the data (such as signal performance etc) but it would be nice if you could, at least, get info on the voltage of both batteries. From my brief research it looks like you will get standard telemetry data direct from the RX but nothing passed from the Powerbox.

I am working with mine and for Futaba. No SBUS 2 connection is made between the Royal and the receiver. The SBUS 2 connection still comes straight out of the receiever. It is very neat how the unit has auto detection, so it knows exactly which servo you are using for the I Gyro portion of the powerbus. Just remember to assign your input from your receiver is coming output 8 and you are in Mode B and do final step of holding in the link button until it flashes red/green. Brain fart for me. Still have some more setup to do but it is a great new asset to my A-10.
See you Mike at Princeton in the fall.

Dave,
Futaba telemetry has been around a lot longer than the Royal SRS!!
The link you posted shows that there is no Sbus2 connection between the Rx and Powerbox so there is no route for the Powerbox to pass telemetry data back. You can still use external telemetry sensors directly into the receiver's Sbus2 port. For example, if you want to monitor the voltage of both onboard batteries you will need 2 external voltage sensors and additional wiring to connect these sensors to your flight batteries. If using Spektrum/M-Link or Hott then you just need a single lead to the Powerbox to achieve the same result. Unlike Spektrum, M-Link and Hott, you won't get any signal quality info with Futaba (which is largely a Futaba limitation rather than a Powerbox one).

Alan, it will be nice to pick your brain on this. For some naive reason, I thought this had an integrated RX. Not sure where I came up with that. No biggie on telemetry, since we can just plug into the rx.
Are you going to make it to JOW?
