For me personally, I have the Tammy so this is a big meh. I wish, like others have stated, they would produce something Tammy hasn't already done. I understand the market though, the tammys are expensive...

Great pictures! Cool thing I noticed right away was a connector from the turret wires to the upper hull, so you can disassemble without having to cut wires, nice.

Also, single pinned tracks. Meh, no big deal, I hope they're nice and strong though.

I have a couple Tamiya Leo a4 one new still in the box and one old from the 80's that I can use the lower hull am wondering if the HL upper would fit it .

That paintjob looks really good, totally unlike the paintjob of the other camouflaged tanks in their lineup.

Its a reasonable facsimile of the Tamiya, but I m looking forward to the Challenger 2 to really see what they can do when they start from ground up.

Looking at the URL video that Craig posted looks like the barrel is recoil also .
So the video that Fury25 posted may not be a mod but what comes standard with the tank witch is great cause wont have to change the barrel assy just the electronics to TK-22 to get I/R battle able .

That's exactly why i would love to get one. Throw in an electronics package of your choice and you get a Leo 2 for a quarter of the price of a Tamiya.
I would absolutely love to get a Tamy but that is for the build expierience aspect of that kit. Awesome kit to build from the looks of it.

O.K...Finally came in !!!!

Its 1am here in OZ so I aint taking photos for no one ...yet.

Here's a quick lowdown:

* Crisp detailing
* Decent paint job
* still got the random glue globule here and there - nothing major, a quick sand or razor scrape will get rid of it
* LOTS of accessories - think of the raw tank as mostly a clean skin
* Rub down transfers
* smooth 2.4ghz transmitter - lots of control on speed of tank.
* pretty std sounds
* metal gun and coax machine gun barrels
* Std heng Long jerky recoil - NO BARREL RECOIL
* no mg43 for gunner[>:]
* nice strong airsoft - I like (run all my tanks with airsoft)
* very smooth suspension travel, with the front 3 and rear two being travel limited (but that can be easily modified)
*IN BUILT TRACK TENSIONER - yes you heard right! It is not infinitely variable - it has predetermined 'indents' in the chassis tub to allow positive or negative tension to be applied to the idler mount.
* Comprehensive manual with parts listing.
* Per instruction manual, metal upgrades will include: tracks, idlers, drive wheels and gearboxes (steel and zinc versions)
* Per instruction manual - full range of upgrades for conversion to I/R

Well we seen how it can be changed to recoil in one of the videos so will see still waiting for mine to come from China .

Just put an order in for the TK22-LEO2 from Immortal Hobbies to change out the HL electronics and add TBU battle apple to it .
Also has anyone found out if the gearboxes are short or long shafts I have a set of long shaft steel gearboxes with 400 motors would like to use .

Got my HL Leo2 today the box that HobbyRaw packed it in was packed really good the box the tank was in looked like it was beat up .
Found a few parts for the fake shocks busted off the only way you can do this is to over play with the wheel and suspension assy the mount for the gun is busted up and the elevation standoffs are broken.
All this can be fixed with some super glue and some styrene sheet but at the price of around $200.00 you think they would of checked it out first must be them darn packing monkey not the glue monkey this time .

Yes Dan it did the funny thing is the outer box it came in was fine the box the tank came in was a little beat up around the corners shows you the packing guy just put it in a box and who ever sent it to him did not care to look if the tank was ok .
But its all fixable the worst of it was at the gun area and the stand offs for the elevation mech but I been in this hobby for some time now so I have fixed a few .

Looking at the two boxes it was packed in more it looks like it was dearing shipping it was done there is a crease in the outer box and a puncher hole were the barrel was so the box had something heavy set on it or it got backed in to something .

Yes it is not worth the effort to try and get any kind of restitution. Just fix it and move on. I look forward to see what you do with it.
