RE: Victorville 3rd Annual Pattern Contest
Well Guys
I just returned home from the 3rd Annual Victorville Pattern Contest, We had 14 contestants and alot of low key/low pressure pattern fun. Our Cd Greg Meierhoff held a 8:30 am pilots meeting
with wheels up at 9;00 am, We were able to get in 3 rounds of flying in on Saturday before the winds and sun became a issue.
We were very fortunate today, with some fantastic weather, the whole weekend with the temp's in the low 90's, Greg wanted to kick thing off early, so that we could get in as many rounds
as possible before the sun and winds became a problem, so that meant wheels up at 7;30 am, ' OMG".
We had 4 Sportsman's,3 Intermediate, 3 advanced and 4 Masters pilots and no FAI flyers. I would like to thank Dick Chrystie, Jean and Mike Greear for the scoring duties over the weekend
it a tough job,and to the Victor Valley R/C Flyers for the use of their flying site and clubs support. Once again, thanks to all for attending and making it such a great event.
I hope to see you at the next Dist 7 contest, which is in Napa, Ca.

RE: Victorville 3rd Annual Pattern Contest
Thank you to the Victor Valley R/C Club, CD Greg Meierhoff, and Dick, Jean and Mike for the awesome job scoring. And not forget Vic Anderson who once again came out to judge. Without folks like you, no pattern.
I'm sorry that I could only stay for Saturday, but I had a lot of fun flying and it was well worth the drive.
