Congrats on your Elefant sale......price is not too bad.
Always fun to watch the bidding...especially with a newbie who shows his hand continually as the clock winds down.
As often the case the ultimate buyer jumps in with 4-5 seconds left.

Thanks....hate to see her go, but finances dictated that it must, and seeing how I got an M4A3 project in the works I won't be "tankless". Just wish I could afford to have a collection like some of you guys, but one kick-butt battle-ready model will keep me sane at least...

Just use esnipe.com that does it automatically. No need to bid early. It wil always give the bid needed at the last second.

I use esnipe because it is fast, convienent and I don't have the time to sit around pressing bid buttons up until the end of the auction. Bidding on the runup tips your hand and doing it that way invariably ups the price. Anyway, people should use whatever way they prefer.
That model has a long history on this board and it is very nice. I know I have bookmarked the build thread as a painting reference. Very skillful.
