Are you installing t-bar or something to support stuffing tube? Just wondering measurement from plug hole to inside transom and also pipe length to center of 2" band?

What pipe setting works for me doesn't necessarily mean it will work with your motor. There are many things to take into consideration....engine mods(if any),hull, props and height above sea level that you are running. I dont run 26's so would not be able to give you a specific pipe length....BUT i did just purchase a QDP26 that i just put in a boat on the weekend but have not run yet. With my mod 29's the pipe length varies between manufacturer of motor im running at the time, hull motor is in and prop being used at the time. I use all hot pipes with flex lengths between 2 3/4"-3". Also i run at sea level (less than 50ft.) so my motors are able to produce more power. Our highest point above sea level in Bermuda is in the 180ft. range if i remember correctly...but its definitely less than 200ft above sea level, that i know for sure. Yes i will go shorter since you are runing a 25cc....13" is just a starting point, not a pipe length im telling you to keep it at or works best at. Some guys will start from about 12.5" and work their way out until they get their best performance. Only you will be able to know what pipe length is best for your set-up from testing, testing, testing. I use a gps and tach when im testing that way i know for sure if my changes are improving or a loss.

Hey Craig maybe you can find someone across the pond to build the hull for you using new mold.

I vote Mart (martno1fan) as a good candidate!

Hi Damon. I am going to finish my flyer15 and maxvee. Now that I know what the bottom looks like, I will redo it. I will mold it myself. Something new to try.

I am very glad to see it getting finished, there is a lot of work as you can see its month 8 now of just this year and the boat is just getting done, still would not be able to use it as a good plug, and with Mhz making one. For me it just was not worth itin the time frame that was wanted.even if 10 guys prepaid up front that might pay you a buck an hour for the work put in.Not to mention the out of pocket expense, believe me if building models was a good business there would be more guys doing it.If its what you do to get away from work then the time in does not matter.why dont you guys that want one make offers on the one that there and you will see what a bad business boat building is, one thing is for certain, nothing that happens in it will have me pulling out my hair.

Hey dont get me wrong I do not mean anything bad by my post, But you cant laugh at what is invested in time and money if its what you do for a living, That part of things does have to be considered, it is a very nice boat, and you did a great job.I would have loved to make it but the timing just did not work out. it happens.have fun with it.

Hi Craig.... So far things are looking good and will know in the next day or two which direction were heading. If all goes well the hull will be built but in very, very limited production. Other than my 2 hulls and your 1 i MIGHT get about 3 or 4 extra's made for production.....notice that is a BIG MIGHT!!! I will still have mold and plug just in case I need it in the future. Will keep you posted!

The turbine has its home already, but I will be using 2 of the hulls to race in our club so will be using gas engines. Yes it is a very unique hull and after all we are going through to try get hulls made I don't want too many around, that's IF I decide to build the extra's other than ours.

Cheers
