Still in the bones. This is #2 plane, I built two at the same time. This one is for a friend, mine is still getting glassed then painted. This one will be electric powered and mine is going glow, A YS 1.10. I just got finished hanging the floats and making the skirts. Ready to be handed over for final sanding and covering.

Here are mine, some of the pictures were taken at the last float fly in Redding, CA and some at our last outting to the lake near Napa, CA ( lake Hennessy )
The Yellow is a 4 star 60 that I got from a flyer that was trying to get out of the hobby because of his helth, he had it for about 2 years and I had it for about 4 so, it has been around, the floats are from Maxfor USA, really nice set and they fit this size of airplanes really good, the boat plane also from Maxford USA, it has been a challange ( which I have enjoyed very much ) to get it to be just right, I had it on wheels to trim it first, it flew like a champ off the water, I have an old Mangnum 46 with a mack muffler, this plane was kissing the water so gentely that the guys were giving me a 10 on my touch and goes

RE: Seaplane pictures
Hi,
this is my Junkers A25, build with depron (plan by Hilmar Lange). As we have winter time here in Germany, I did my maiden on snow and it made a lot of fun starting & landing on snow!
Winspan is 1,35 meter ... or 52 inch.

Here is my Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 floatplane.
I just finished some detail work to the top of the floats, built the guns and mounted them and added a control wheel.
It's has a 53"ws , a 43"fuse and it's electric powered. had it out on the snow a few times already and it flies nice with a few quirks all it's own. It should fly well off of the water too !

RE: Seaplane pictures
Picture of this winter two building projects. One is an own design to test a different hull, the other is a Laker. At least it started as a Laker that I bought ready built, but I had to rectify a few items. Then I started to modify the airplane.

RE: Seaplane pictures
At 56 years old, I've only been flying two years. A couple of months ago I picked up a Flyzone Tidewater, flew it from a river at a local boat ramp and have been hooked on seaplanes since. I have had a Dynam PBY for over a year and a Flyzone Beaver for six months and had only flown them from grass or snow until last weekend. Because I have had such a blast with the Tidewater, I put the floats on the Beaver and loaded up the PBY and took them both for their maiden from water. I realize I am late to this party, but what a ball I had, and I'm happy to report, all three planes flew great and came home in one piece.Jim

RE: Seaplane pictures
My Miss Grandin. I've built her last winter. I've equipped the model with wheels so I can fly on flying field (dry land) and on the water.
