Retirement at last....AMEN. Thank You all !
One day left, and then I am retired after 31 1/2 years. Now I can finish some of my long term the tank projects.

Congrats! I pulled the pin as a CA LEO after 26 years then moved to OR where I spent another 13 years instructing for a local SO, and the state law enforcement academy.Finished withthose on 1/31 of this year and will very shortly be collecting another monthly retirement check, however as a public safety retiree will be penalized 60% of total SS benefit. You might want to see if that applies to you.

I'm curious; while performing an extremely difficult job, you manage to be more involved in a hobby and travel than anyone I know.

Well done, Bob! Enjoy having more time for things you enjoy than you had while working. It's amazing that there STILL aren't going to be enough hours in the day to get everything done that you want to. Have fun with it, though! -Mike

31.5 years as a first responder is like 63 years to others. Besides with no information, how does he know Bob's isn't 80 years old and it's his third career.
