Default Ofna Buggy8 Brushless

Curious to know if this buggy can be ran off 11.1v lipos vs 14.4? I only ask because I already have 4 and use to use them on my Associated rc8e. Although it wasn't crazy fast, it was still fun and both the motor and ESC never got hot.

Default RE: Ofna Buggy8 Brushless

Well I got the Buggy 8 and ordered 4x2S 5000mah lipos anyway. The ESC is 150A and I'm trying to find some more info on it. So far from what Im reading, it should handle up to 25.4v but in the description it also mentions "motor limits". Meaning 2400kv +up it shows 15v limit. Im assuming because the stock motor is 1900kv that I should be able to run 22.2v and be safe? I've seen video on youtube of this buggy being ran at 22.2v but nothing on the video states that there are running the stock 150A ESC, so Im unsure. I hope someone here can chime in and LMK if it's an option without killing the motor or ESC. Thanks Joe
