Identify this 27% Cap 232?
Hey, Guys. Had the opportunity to join the ranks of large scale flying so I took a chance and bought this used and in fair condition Cap 232. Other than what was obvious by looking at the model, I have no information on it. The original builder was very talented, but the previous owner must have pogo-ed it off the runway hard enough to push the landing gear into one side of the fuse, busted the cowl and some balsa - all repairable.
But I can't find out who's kit this is. I'd like to get a replacement canopy and possibly a cowl.
The hobby shop guy said the engine was a Bryson? 50cc, (marked on card as a 3.2) but there are no markings on the engine except 44ZN18 on the cylinder head. The engine appears to be in fine shape. Had a new Xoar 23x8 prop in place.
Servo on the rudder is a Hitec 5985 MG, all other surfaces have 5645 MG - adequate I assume at this point prior to researching.
Plane weight dry is 17lbs - I'm not planning on 3D work with this bird, simply wanted a good tracking, hard pulling, predictable and agile plane. It certainly looks to me like this one will be fun.
Any information and tips you have will be helpful and appreciated.

RE: Identify this 27% Cap 232?
I may be totally off base with this, but I wonder if Carden ever made a Cap that size? The one piece canopy and the foam backed turtle deck look very much like some of the Carden kits I've seen. My best flying Buddy has a 35% Carden Extra 330 that he built and the horizontal stabs attach to the fuse the same way as this Cap does too. A phone call or an email to Dennis at Carden may not be a bad idea, the more I think about it. Just my $0.02 worth. Good luck with your search.
Take care.

Are the wings foam core or built up? If foam core, it might be built from a Lanier kit.
