I did a member search for boating members in Hillsborough,NC and found three others besides you. If you do a search using other towns around you ,you may find more or you could just search for boating NC members and pick ones local to you and contact them.

Depends what type of boats you are running. The IMPBA appear to have a [link=http://www.impba.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=59&Itemid=92]club[/link] in Greensboro.
