i accidentally went thru the ez pass lane on the PA turnpike (NE ext 476).I did contact PA-DOT and they said i will automatically receive a fine and a charge for the whole length of the turn pike.But i wonder what the fine will be?

Thank you for those links.I haven't recieved it yet and this happend this past Saturday $ 25 and 11 would be a fine, fine for me,i HATE the NE ext!!!! I mean they still fine you even when you contact them imediatly ready to pay by phone the ammount owed.Good old PA!! State that keeps on taking and the sh.ty streets/roads get sh.tyer.

We visited PA recently and I found the roads to be similar to a offroad course back when I raced open desert.

lol,you really did make me smile,i know the roads are a disaster.Like a 3rd world country.And they been working on the turn pike since i can remember when i was 12 in 85.They're STILL WORKING!!!! ***! I mean i understand there's a lot of trafic that requires high maintnance but you know, when we as paying citizens are allowed to drive 65mph on that interstate we shoild be able to drive 65 to our destination.Well they have 45mph zones due to work and, god DON'T get caught speeding in a work zone up there.It's BS.. Supposed to be a comuter route for high speed driving all the way,not slow down now to 40 or 45!

All the roads are falling apart. Lowest bid gets the job and that's good enough. TP tolls have bee going up it seems every year and I take alternate routes now when I can. I used to travel the NEext every week ........what a boring and now expensive ride.

It is boring i agree.I went from the Scranton/Wilkes Bare area, to Bensalm Croydon area, minutes from Philly visiting just recently.
