Pé helped me several times trying to figure out how to tune an ST carb. With his help I finally got it. He welcomed me to "the inner circle". Indeed be will be missed greatly. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Always enjoyed reading his post and marveled at his expertise. RCU lost two great ones. MinnFlyer was the other one.

I never read the home page but for some reason I just caught a glimpse of this ones title. Am very saddened by this news. P.E. helped me a lot back when I started in gas. P.E., you will surely be missed my friend across the pond. Life is just too short.

So shocked and saddened to learn of this. 70 years old was too young.

Pe' helped me many times in both my threads with questions as well as private mail. And to this day I still use his prop thrust calculator.

Pe', may your soul rest in peace and may the good Lord take you into his house, and may He also comfort your family.

The RC community has indeed lost a very large assett. His wealth of knowledge was used by many of us on multiple forums.
Whether you agreed with him or not he always backed up his info with incredible detail. He will sorely be missed.
God speed my friend.
Pe` had something for everyone interested in listening to reason about modeling power plants and I think the above post captures the essence of what he was all about and speaks to the community's loss.

Go in Peace.

A great loss to his family, friends, and the RC community. He offered his knowledge freely, sometimes with a dry wit. His presence will be greatly missed here and on other forums.

I only fly electric, but I have read some of his posts which seem to display a virtual encyclopedia of knowledge. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

I did find a picture along with some Dutch text at I think is his rc club website.I am going to try to post both, but I am not positive it is his picture. The translation may not be accurate, please be kind. Mods please modify and or delete if the information is wrong or inappropriate.

Tribute Pe Reivers- 27-6-2013 Today we have learned that Pe Reivers last tuesday, June 25, 2013 died unexpectedly.<o></o>

<o></o>

Pe for 15 years has been a board member in the function of treasurer and 8 years of this combined with the presidency. In the redistribution of events venue "The Versen" Pe has ensured that we have maintained our current field. Pe is also the spiritual father and driving force of our current environmental permit and above all the engines-professor of our club. We will miss him.
