HELP: Question on Air Brakes/Speed Brakes(air tank) for Venom F86-70
Hi, I purchase the Venom F86-70mm from Banana Hobby last year.
On the description page it mention Air Brakes. Now after a year,
I decided to start building the F86. Anyway to make thing short.
TheF86-70mm kit did not come with the Air Brakes/Speed Brakes system.
If you can help me find an air tank and what other items I need for it. Since this is my first time dealing with this.
Thank you so much if you can point me where I need to get the above items.
Since I'm not sure what the official name for the Air Brakes/Speed Brakes are (see photo below), I can't find it on the internet.

RE: HELP: Question on Air Brakes/Speed Brakes(air tank) for Venom F86-70
I think you may be a little confused. "Air/ Speed Brakes" refers to the disruption of air flow over the fuselage in this case, not that they are air powered.
If you look at the pictures on BH's site, you can see the doors are servo operated.
Much simpler, and probably a lot less expensive then a pair of air cylinders to operate them.
Take your time installing and setting up the servo throws, as you could easily damage the doors with too much throw in either direction.

Thanks Glacier Girl for the information. I have one other question. Since the doors will be open when the plane starts to land, all
the trust power from the engine will exit out the two doors instead of the back of the plane. The engine is in front of those does.
Meaning the plane will be unstable as it lands, Does this make sense.
