Engine's mounted, servos installed. Now I gotta get all the fiddly bits 40+ years of glow engine flying haven/t needed!!!
We'll be teaching an olde dog (hawke?) all about gas engines at ODP - oughta be worth the price of admission just watching THAT!!!

I'm looking forward to Hogzilla and Chickenzilla! I will be bringing my two 1/3 scale planes: Nieu-28 and Siemens, and might test fly the 1/3 DH-2 there as well. That should be interesting! My friend is still TRYING to get the time off so we can be there Saturday, He is threatening to call in sick if they don't give it to him ! hahahhaha
I imagine we will bringing the most efficient car (small) sort of a bummer ... I have a buddy with a home built RV6, but then all three of us wouldn't fit, planes or not ! Anyhow I really hope I can make it over for part of the weekend.

Holey cow, how much trailer does it take to haul 3 1/3 scales? My 1/3 pup brakes down into 4 pieces fuse,tail, left wing section,right wing section. it fills my old beater van completely full ! barely room for the gasoline and flight box.
I do normally leave the tail on the plane until I haul it downstairs for the winter...

I plan on night-flying my Micro Antic. Hopefully it will be dark enough so that the grognards won't ground it for being non-scale

I normally Fly 1/3 scale planes at midnight in total darkness ,No lights what so ever . I just use the flying siloette of the aircraft and sound of the 81 cc engine ! Alot of Fun !

That pic is what I was talking about........the little "baby" planes are allowed BUT I would wait until there is no "Man-sized" planes in the air........
That was my "CD's"(Lee McDuffy)........."Alby flee" that got "run over" in some "man-size" traffic.......
