"The Legend" is born

Happy Easter everyone, look what the easter bunny brought me , I have the best wife on the planet . I am going to do a complete disassembly and convert to a carbon fiber race machine/break in bench. This way I will be able to answer any questions about the new 2013 rtr to help out the new comers. I can't wait I love the smell of new savages.

Well I finally got the legend back together. Here is some pics of it as it is now. I am not going to go into a bunch of detail on the build as it appears noone really cares about it anyhow. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Got a bit more done on the legend this weekend, setup the steering, finished the throttle mod and finished the body.

There was quite a bit of adjusting needed, and here I thought they were close?

The throttle mod took a bit of adjusting to get it straight but I think it will work out just fine:

I even found time to do the x-ss wheelie bar mod, can't wait to give it a try:

Did you weight it after you put it together with the CF before the add ons like the wheelie bar and whatnot? Good looking truck.

I was surprised they weigh so little stock now.

Good job on the radio box paint job. Looks cool. Is that a Camaro hood I see? Whats in that? Any challange for the GTO?

Looks sweet. Love the paint job. I have that body too. I have the same chassis too but I don't like how it limits your spur / bell size.

I did weigh the unit after and it was only slightly less due to the different tvp's and the delrin tranny. I will have to look at my photobucket to get the exact figure, my work computer has that site firewalled.

SV250 you are correct that is an 83 camaro, it is the my wife's car. It has a 355ci with a mild cam, aluminum intake and a set of headers. It is not much competition for the Judge but it runs hard and she likes it.

Donovan thanks for the kind comments, I am not worried about the chasis limiting me to much on gear combo with this one as it is just going to be my short basher anyhow. I have been far to busy to even fire it up the last while unfortunately. I have ran 2 tanks through it with my Nova in it to see what it is like and all I can say is WOW. That engine has power, the torque is crazy on it with this short truck. I want to get some more fuel through it and lean it out. Glad I put the wheelie bar on it, that gets used quite a bit.
