Paint mask help
I have been working on a Top Flite Sea Fury for a while now. Before painting, the canopy was covered with the Bob Dively Liquid masking film. Now it is painted and clear coated, however the paint mask and paint was done several years ago and the clear coat yesterday. So now I am having trouble getting the paint and mask off of the canopy.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the paint and masking off while not damaging the canopy? I thought about a replacement but Tower doesn't stock this item anymore.
Thanks
Doug

RE: Paint mask help
Worst case, you can sand off the mask off of the canopy. Just remove all of the paint/mask while wet sanding. This will leave the canopy completely opaque when it is sanded from all the fine scratches, but it will became crystal clear again when you shoot clear coat over the canopy. Done it on dozens of Formula One models back in 80's.

Thanks everyone,
I have a few options to try here so will start with the easiest and see if that works, then go from there.
