Hi, looks like a real nice Yak, question, in the fuse at the back where the stringers are is the bottom lined with something?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.
Thanks

I ordered a 4" carbon fiber spinner from Aerobeez, I think it will look great on the Slick.

I have over 100 flights on the Yak now and 30 on the Slick. I am really enjoying them both. I have done full throttle blenders and pop tops with both of them, these planes are tuff. I will try to get a new video up soon.

Your Yak55M looks terrific...thanks for the build thread. Yesterday I ordered the Aerobeez 50 cc Sbach342; and I hope it turns out as well. Anybody know if there's a build thread on the Sbach? Can't find much yet.

Happy Flying!

This threads been dead for a year. I just ordered one to put a DLE 30 to use. How does the plane fly and how does it hold up? Any common control surace coupling to mix out? Is the landing gear holding up over time? Any tips like battery or servo placements to get the CG right?

Is that question for me? I am not aware there's any options for servos since it's a removable stab it has separate elevator servos and precuts for standard size sevos. I'm going to use standard size servos everywhere including throttle. Using a 2200 LIFE battery for RX/servos and a 1400 nimh battery for the ignition.

What brand and model servos will you be using? Hitec, Futaba? I picked the Aerobeez 25% Sbach 342 30cc and am still trying to decide on what servos to use. Maybe Hitech 5585's or the Savox 1258TG's.

I've had the plane for over a year now with the DLE 30. More than enough power. I'm using Power HD 9150MG servos. Landing gear is holding up fine. I fly off grass. It will pull to the canopy on knife edge. I made the horizontal stabs permanent. As for aerobatics, it will do anything you want it to. Ignition pack is right in front of wing tube and flight pack is about 4 inches behind wing tube. Lands gently. You will enjoy the plane.

Good to hear. Did you end up making any thrust changes once you started to fly it? The link to the manual doesn't work (for me anyway) from their website. Does it come with one?
