In response to all RCU members that emailed me concerning my 5-star rating post "Let Me Give Thanks"....
And my repost suggesting a '5-Star Brotherhood'.

First of all, it took me a while to figure out what the stars meant.
Second, I had no input for the rating but felt extremely honored that RCU awarded it.

I am very aware that there are members of RCU with 3, 4, and 5 thousand posts who have not received stars, especially after only 13 post.
My suggesting a 5-Star Brotherhood was not meant to be offensive. In no way was I trying to portray I was more intelligent or achieve recognition that I didn't deserve.
I did not mean to insult anyone, but, apparently I did.
My sincere apologies to all those who deemed it necessary to personally email me with insults, their displeasure, and hostilities.

To all those who responded to my posts, I thank you. Your suggestions/answers were very helpful.

To all RCU members, once again, I sincerely apologize!
This will be my last post!

If it is any consolation, Mr. Ken respectfully declined my 5-Star Brotherhood proposal.

In case people don't know,, The Stars are because someone liked your post,, if you look at your "score" under you name,, it started out at 100,, now 110,, you you've been rated at least twice. That score acumulates as you can see mine is a little higher

The stars won't show up at every post you make, trust me

Maybe I'll start a 350+ Brotherhood,,,, not likely

Hey, Don't stop posting just because a few knuckleheads couldn't see past or forgive an innocent mistake bourne of inexperience. You have learned new stuff and now that inexperience is now enlightend

It didn't appear that there was any malice or malicious intent nor a spirit of arrogance...just innocent joy in a new idea. We all make mistakes and gradually increase or knowledge and experience base...that's the cure for ignorance and it's how we grow.

Though it seems that your most recent taste of RCU has led to the feeling that most people here are are harsh and unkind, let me assure you that the inverse is the real spirit of the site. The vast majority here are understanding, kind, helpful, gracious and love to share their knowledge, thoughts, tips, hints and expertise.

Stick around, I would love to see your further input around the boards.

Never apologize to someone who is disrespectful to you. And never let someone run you off. Stand Your Ground. And as the guys above said, you liveand learn. I am very sure I have offended one or two here in RCU. But like you, it was not intentional. So I dont sweat those that are easily offended.

I wouldn't worry about it! I've had folks 'reprimand' me from time to time and they don't even have all of the facts! I just ignore them like the small minded children they are. If I feel the need then they get a PM. If I make an incorrect statement then I admit it but that doesn't happen very often!
