Not a fan at all of the printed covering. It makes repairs extremely obvious. Other than that, it is a nice looking plane. I have a set of gear and a YS 120 looking for a home.

I think repairs with the flat Ultracote and redoing the lines with a fine line sharpie or fine line paint pen will not be a huge deal. Will have to fuel proof if glow, but no problem for me as mine is going to be electric....

Xcoting news that they have shipped...mine will be at Roy's Hobby Shop in Hurst, Tx next week! (Small shameless plug there!)

Who's worried about covering repairs?? I plan on being the one who is doing the shooting, not the one being shot down!

I have a H9 P-47 powered by a e-flite power 110 through a CC 110 HV esc drawing from 10S-5000 (6+4) and turning a APC 17X13 prop, it is fast and the sound with a mild rip is great, a fun plane to fly.

How long does it fly on 10S x 5000 MAH? Normal flight conditions of course.

Mr HoundDog. I would go with gas there my friend! Electric doesn't sound as good as if you were to slap a dle 35 or something on there! My 2 cents to you and hopefully you invest in this bird!

The biggest problem with gas is vibration and of course dead stick landings or crashes when the gas motor stops for what ever reason, The gas single is a real shaker and tends to reduce the life of the airframe if it is not lost to engine outs at inopportune times. The electric system is plug and play ---much more reliable than gas and not near as noisy.

Can't wait for the next generation of batteries of course if U stick some real money in them U can get more than ten minutes. 28 oz tank get's me over 15 minutes but most of us don't fly that long anyway.

I am pushing the P-47 we'll beyond it's design, generating speeds well above 100 mph so with a smaller motor and prop combo that plane was actually designed for and the flight time would double. When was the last time you saw a H9 P-47 booking at 120+???

That's right.... my hanger 9 P-47 is doing 130+ on electric for 7 minutes. I could prop way down and have a 10 minute flight but I'd rather hall some mail

here is a video of my giant scale hanger 9 P-47
I made the video with my hat cam and onboard micro cam

Just finished mine up and I will hopefully get a chance to maiden it tomorrow. DLE 30 for power and E-Flite electric retracts and struts. My TF P-47 would do over 120 with this combo so I'm hoping to see some similar numbers.
