Plan is to install a DBRC3 and Benedini with Tamiya Battle System. I will eventually install recoil, that's down the road though.

Oooh Raah is right! Great job on this one Richard. 6th Marines would have been happy to have this one on the line with them.

Thanks!!! For the tracks on the outside I the plastic tracks from the HL Sherman (thanks Jeff). I cut off the teeth. It looked in photos like the Marines had removed them prior to welding. I used hobby grade CA glue and used insta-set. They are holding firm. If they stop holding I will probably resort to plastic weld or epoxy putty. I would prefer not to have to drill and screw them on. I had to separate the links at the seam in the front plate. The sandbags are hand made using epoxy putty, a square of ladies hose and khaki paint.

Glad I was able to help out as you did some really nice work there with those extra tracks.
You just don't see too many Shermans from the PTO. I want one now!

Beautiful weathering and stowage ....... excellent detailing! The subtle camo paint job is very realistic, not overdone. The background for your photo is perfect. [X(]

First - great job on the Sherman!
I like attaching accessories to the hull with silicon adhesive (Goop), as long as the piece is large enough to hide the glue. The part needs to be supported until the glue sets. Assuming the part is sturdy enough, it can be removable with slow and constant pressure. In my experience, damage to the plastic/paint has been minimal.

I will have to try that Goop adhesive ....... rubber cement has worked for me so far on accessories to be removed later for painting, I use a very small amount for easy removal with no damage. I use more for permanent attachment.

Very nice job. It looks just like the USMC Shermans in my book by Steven Zaloga, " Armored Thunderbolt"
