RE: Wings of Victory
The field is looking great. Low to mid 90's with a light delta breeze forecast for the weekend. Should be great weekend for using up some fuel.
Here are a few shots from previous WOV to wet our appetite for what we might see this year.

RE: Wings of Victory
Was that a Kellogg Avenger in that video (appears at about the 1:45 mark)?
Who built it? Details? I didn't know that one was under construction in California! Nice!
Looks like a good time... some great model, too!

RE: Wings of Victory
Wow 2013 Wings of Victory turned out to be a wonderful event we had great pilots great spectators great planes only a couple of accidents that all of us are sorry that happened. The worse one was a A-10 flamed out and was not able to make it back. I want to thank all of you that came I can't wait until next year because it's only going to get better and better, I learned alot on what works and what we can do to make it even better next year. One more thing I had so much help putting this togather and all the members that helped at the event and my wife did a great job greeting people and taking care of registration among many many other things. Check out the You Tube Video
See ya next year.
Thanks,
Eric Mills

Yes that was Kellogg TBM. Started by the late Kim Lines and taken over to what you see by Monty Welch. They were trying to get a test flight on the aircraft that weekend. I had a Moki under the hood. But I cant tell you much more beyond that. Check out the club web site for pictures of the event. Here is a link to a photo of the TBM running up.

Yeah Noah.... it was mine... the one we have been discussing.... Also the Westland Wyvern with the yellow/black stripes and the DO335 was mine... Had some really nice warbirds show up... but we always do at this event. We have a great flying field.... one of the best around in Calif. javascript:void(AddText('','_image/s2.gif'))
