RE: The Galloping Ghost
My father had a Galloping Ghost setup - Flapping is how they worked, your control input made them "flap" in one way more than the other.. Or was it made one side less??
I had put one of his older escapement setups in a Mini Mamba one time, but we never did get to test fly that plane. At least with that setup you could push the button for turn, straight, turn the other way...

RE: The Galloping Ghost
I've seen some other videos of this (or exactly similar?) Galloping Ghost...
I cannot decide if this one has better sound than the big Moki radials - or just different

RE: The Galloping Ghost
Still looking for prop size/pitch and rpm figures on the galloping ghost setup. Is Enserk just the guy who made the video? is there someone else I should be asking?

It would seem from all the videos/pics I have seen that Otto (the Pilot) is running the SEP 36/20 prop right now. I have not seen his direct report of rpm's on the 4 cylinder, but he is comparing it to his Moki 400 at 200 rpm's less.....
Hope this helps,
John
