Manheader/Kenny Kong makes and sells the track set for the 1/15 Bandai.

You will have to pin the kits tracks as they are a snap together type fit and will not hold up to RC use.

I started on mine about a quarter way... What work that is! [X(]

OH that is different then. I had a quick look at them and thought they had pins pre installed, that I had to remove and then reinstall. If those are molded that way then I may be buying those metal tracks sooner then I thought.

This was built by a DAK member and I don't know all the secrets but it has Jagdpanther MFU/DMD and Bandai gearbox with and ancient brass upgrade. No recoil yet and maybe Kenny Kong.....

You can get sprung metal suspension, tracks and sproket/Idler on Ebay.

I have this Suspension Set. It will work but needs bushings to fit the holes in the lower hull as the original suspension has a larger post that fits into the holes in the lower hull. I will try and post some photos to show the difference.

Yeah... don't spend your money as they do not fit.

A couple of tankers from the group I once battled with said they are atrocious. IF installed as directed they will "lean" away from the hull.

Of course, with some (or a lot) of work you can make almost anything fit. Or work.

That is why they need the bushings for the lower hull.

Oh, I see. This is what the hold up is on yours? It needs bushings?

Maybe they who manufacturers this should know then, huh.

What size bushings? Just any kind then?

I am going to use brass tubing cut to fit the holes in the hull and the post on the suspension. [8D]

Thanks for the help guys. This is starting to look like it is destined for the some shelf life. A couple of other things are probably going to get my attention first.
