Hi all I'm looking for two more guys that might want to have down and locked gear on their 104. Ron is currently building a sequencer that will allow the forward main gear doors to remain cracked open when gear is down, just like the full scale bird. Please reply here if you are interested. I will be using servo powered doors.

Nice and clean! Let me know when you get details on how DNL will make the doors work.

This what I am going for unless I choose a demo scheme. I use to live at the base it was stationed, so it seems fitting. Also matches the paint scheme on my BVM F-100.

The Skymaster 104 is an F-104G with the extended tail. Only matters if you want a scale paint scheme. My bud has the CF-104 in 417 sg colors. Either way they are awesome.

Chris, the 417 is a nice scheme too. Some of the demo schemes look spectacular on the F-104.

Can't you use the included sequencer on the newer Powerboxes to do exactly that ?

I'm not sure. We are going to have one doors open position and two different doors closed position based upon gear up or down.
I'm unfamiliar with the PowerBox sequencer.
The nice thing about Down and Locked is that the system is being engineered for this application specifically. Remember this gear will be fully electric. Should save weight and simplify the install not to mention the reliability. No hydraulic fluid or air leaks/lines to mess with.
