Default R617FS Receiver ruined???

I had a R617FS Rx in a helicopter that the BEC failed and burned up the servos and gyros. The Rx is not working either. Can it be repaired? Is there a fuse (or fuse link) that could be replaced?

Thanks

Sounds like you had an over voltage condition occur. If that is the case, I would send that Rx to Futaba for service/repair. I don't think there is a fuse or a fuse link that blows to save the Rx. I suspect you'll have several electronic components that will need replacement on the circuit board.

Thanks for the reply................

That's what I thought. I was hoping someone from Futaba could give me an idea of the repair (I can buy a new one for $85).

Without seeing the unit, it's impossible to say what the difficulty may be or what it would cost to repair. However, repairs will not exceed 1/2 of the MSRP of the receiver. If they do cost more, we'll offer a new receiver at 1/2 of the MSRP.

Thanks for the reply...................I'll be sending my TX in for service in a few months, I'll send the RX with it.
