Tactic TTX 650 VS. Futaba 7CAP ?
I currently have an older Futaba 7 channel CAP channel 18. Looking to move up some time to 2.4 technology. Seen on Model Aircraft magazine a review of the Tactic TTX 650.
Price looks good at $150. Receivers are $20.
My question is; Could this transmitter replace my Futaba 7CAP ? Would want it to be bullet proof. Futaba has always treated me well and could go with a Futaba 2.4, but the receivers and transmitter are more costly. I currently fly 10-15 different models with one transmiter.
Anyone using this particular transmitter and how do you like it ?
Thanks in advance
Cary

Seen that RTCPAUL. That's one thing that enticed me to this deal. From what I've read, this transmitter and receivers are good to use for Nitro planes ?
Are the receivers universal in that they accept Futaba-Hitec servos ?
Thanks again

With a 20 model memory the Tactic 650 is an excellent radio for the money. It will accept both Futaba and Hitec servos, as well as Sprectrum, Savox, and JR.
It's a great buy in my opinion.
