I have searched with No luck, probably didn`t phrase the question right.

So here goes, does anyone here know of a Free Sound Effects file share site that might have 4 inch deck gun firing sounds? I know Navy, this is tanks, but sounds effects can be used anywhere.

Please let me know and post the link. I have been looking for a while with no luck.

I've seen and used them but most are gone or not free any more. Just keep searching and something will turn up. took me a while to find them too. Sorry don't have any site names or links any more.

umm George  have you tried searching for Naval gun sounds?

Thanks guys for your help. Freakdude, I was at that site tonight and with ALL things there, I could not find one Naval main deck gun sound file. I have been to soo many sites that my eyes are tired. You would think " WWII Corvette 4" Main Deck Gun firing sound effect should find something, that`s pretty specific. Nope, so I tried destroyer 5" gun firing - nope.

Thanks for the links, some where close BUT I think I liked the last one best of the 5" deck gun video firing. Now ALL I have to do is look for a sound file of it.

Thanks for the links but I have a problem with the extra noises heard. Any chance you have some more sounds of just a 5" deck gun firing one shot and No ejection of cartridge or other sounds heard?

I think I got the Best I`m gonna find, the MK45 BUT it is multiple shots with the casing heard being ejected. Do you know how to get only a Single loud shout sound with No casing being ejected?

The files are what they are. If you have some type of editing software you could probably get rid of the effects you don't want. But if you do not then you may need to keep searching for a file that does not have any extra sounds.
