I don't get on RCU much, but I have followed this thread for a few years now. I have been making tunnel boats for around 4 years, and always wanted to offer a Johnson/ Evinrude cowling due to the lack of availability of the AMPS cowlings, even tho there are molds out there (hint hint AMPS mold owners! haha), so I decided last week to make a plug, and mold, and draw up decal sets. Once the decals kits are finalized, I will offer these on my website, along with the many race boat kits I already offer. Mike Luszcz, www.ml-boatworks.com
Got the first part pulled early last night, and had it out of the mold a couple hours later! I ended up just bonding the lower half to the upper, and slipping it over the Neu 1521. I am gonna probably put a small metal plate coming off the lower unit with some velcro on top that will velcro over to the lower pan at the back side of the lower unit where you will not even see it! In the pictures it is just free floating! Time to finish up the graphics and get Mike Mcknight to do them up on some quality vinyl, and get this joker painted!

Hi,
I was wondering where i can get a new drive shaft for the O.S Max 46. It's a 3/16" shaft. My starcraft CPS 20 boat has been out for a while because of the broken shaft. Please help me get my boat running!

Something I have been playing with lately. Amps tunnel with brushless power. Hyperformance bullet drive with a DPI cowling. Looks very scale and it uses stock K&B drive parts. I will post a video soon

This is a video of one of my International hobbies tunnels with an 11cc K&B and AMPS lower. I have a DPI cover on this one just so I don't damage an amps cover. I am running it very easy here trying not to tear anything up. My 7 year old son is holding the camera and makes some interesting comments....Sorry!
