Golden Age Air Museum RC Meet August 24th and 25th
Howdy Gang!
Golden Age Air Museum RC Meet is coming up soon!
This year the dates are August 23,24,25. the 23rd is for open flying and general hanging out, the 24th and 25thfly in is for meet specific airplanes.Flightline opens at 9:00 AMeach day for Modelsof the Pioneer Era through 1941as long astheprototype flewbefore and During 1941. There is no prohibition against heavy metal warbirds, but this is not a Warbird specific event. It is open to all types of airplanes from those Eras.
Come on out and enjoy the great flying area and the great airplanes that are part of the GAAM Collection. There will be a full Size display of the Museum airplanes and a short flight demonstration of the full scale museum airplanes each afternoon weather permitting.

hi Bob, There is an econo lodge 1 mile from the museum, and many others within 10 miles one in particular is the frystown motel. do a Google search in the Bethel Hamburg/Hershey PA Area

Had a Short 3 day visit and met some of the fineist aviation and hobbiest people at Golden Age Airfield. Thank you all for your hospitality and help in making a good weekend a great one. Will definitly be back.

Unfortunately the Standard was owned by one of our members and he needed to sell it to make some serious health obligations. It went to a collector/restorer on the west coast
