Received the 40 twin last week and ran it on test stand for a tank and half or so. After some adjustments finally figuring what it takes to get it going, seems to run good and idle good. Got it mounted on Hanger 9 260 27% and the fit was perfect. will be maiden it soon.

Mine arrived late last week. Mounted in a H-9 Hellcat and test run with a 16x8x3 Master Airscrew. Around 8k on the ground with a rich 2-stroke setting. Will test-fly today. Previous engine was an RCGF 15cc that was a little disappointing.

Only criticism is the 8mmx.75 thread. Has been difficult finding a tap, but one was ordered off E-Bay.

Got my VVRC 20 on my Big Stik 60, Fired right up, and no needle fiddling for now. Gotta like the pre run service from Valley View,  Ran a tank through it on the ground, and hope to fly it this weekend.

Well, put six flights on it today, it didn't miss a beat. It has a lot of power, pulled my big stik 60, 10 pounds, straight up unlimited, kept it around half throttle most of he time. Very smooth engine, other club members were impressed.

Tried my VVRC 20cc yesterday on my Stick 60 too. Didn´t touch needles yet (8,500rpm with Xoar 16x6). The club members were impressed too.

I haven't touched the needles yet either, it is a little rich on the low end, but I will keep it rich for a while.

The threads on all new VVRC 20cc engines are now M8 X 1, this is the same as the DLE-20.

Both the 20cc and 40cc twin engines are now in stock at Valley View RC.  We are offering the 40cc twin engine with both the 1/4 X 32 angled plugs and the straight NGK CM-6 plugs.  Several people are putting these on the Giant Sticks and asked for the straight plugs.

Ernie,

I have the great planes 60 big stik with the 20 cc,  A 16x8 prop pulls it straight up unlimited.  I don't keep it full throttle for long at level flight, It feels too fast and don't want to shred it.

Ernie,

I have a Value Hobby .60 Stick with VVRC 20cc gas engine. Xoar or APC 16x6. Mine weights 7.54 pounds without fuel. Plenty of power, even I´m in the break-in process.

At 7.5 pounds I'm sure the VVRC 20 motivates it quite well!

It's a hanger 9 extra260 27% . The 40 twin was the perfect fit for it.

heritageman , I will be waiting for your report on the 40 twin . I ordered one last week for a ECOMRC Wilga that will be used for aero-towing. The twin will be a tight fit so I ordered the mini plug version . Let us know what props you use and Rpm's you are getting etc....
Pics and video of the 260 would be nice too !!!
Hoping for fair winds and clear skies

Had my friend maiden the extra today and he really liked the overall performance of the 40cc twin. The engine idle was good and was turning a 20x10 prop at 7400 rpm. Was off the ground quick ,loops, rolls, hovering plenty of power. Iwas really impressed.
