Default picking the right electric motor

hello every one need help pick the right kv for my boat I choose to go with a Neu motor but I am not sure what size kv to pick I want to know if the 485 kv would work better then the 725kv single motor setup in a 60" catamaran offshores style can someone help me I have a 300amp esc.

It all depends on what Voltage you intend to use. Here's a chart that will help.

like 785 said, Kv depends on your voltage.  What is the Max [cell/volts] your ESC can handle?  Then see what Kv you need to spin about 30,000rpm (Kv = rpm/volt)

If you run the 752Kv motor, you are going to need to run like 10s-12s (37V-44.4V nominal)

hello everyone have question on battery s rating I have a swordfish pro 300a esc with 4s - 15s lipo rating I need to know if its ok to use two 7s lipos in series or is that too close to the max cell rating for the esc, because that would give me 14s . thanks
