Default YS FZ91 muffler

Hi guys.

Just bought a new in box YS FZ-91, only installed in an airframe, but never run.
The guy aparently made a custom exhaust system a long time ago, and Im missing the stock bits.

The muffler that I have has a 11mm threaded hole, while the engine is 13mm.

Looking in the manual, it looks like the header pipe does not vary in size at each end.

Is my muffler the wrong one for this engine ?
Should it have been a 13mm thread/hole instead of only 11mm ?

Anybode know where I can get a header to fit my engine.....if my muffler is the correct one ?
Or have the partnumer ?

Thanks...

Try central hobbies and performance specialties.

www.centralhobbies.com
www.pspec.com

Central Hobbies will carry stock YS parts, Performance Specialties carries its own compatible mufflers, good stuff, I have a few for my 91, 120 and 140.

I seem to remember that the threaded coupler between the engine and muffler was the same diameter and threads as the Saito 100. You may want to check with Horizon Hobby and see if that is indeed the case. Will give you a few more options for replacing the missing item.

Thanks guys.

Looking closer, I actualy think the sock 11/13mm pipe is silver soldered onto the copper pipe.
I will try and take it to my friends place, and heat it up, and hopefully get the pipe and solder off it, so it can be used.

I found the parts that can be ordered if I have to.
Thanks anyway
