Hmmm... My yellow scheme I recieved in April the lettering appears to be painted on. Or if it is a vinyl sticker it was not obvious - will have to check later. If so the sticker was factory installed.

Did someone measure the capacity of the fuel tanks?
Main fuel tank should have 2,2 Liter, mine has only 2 Liters. But it is a replacement tank.
It's not a Problem, because together with the saddle tanks I have enough fuel. But I realised it when I did some short flights with main tank only.
Regards, Walter

RE: C-ARF Ultra Flash build Thread + Video
Hey guys just a quick question. Trying to figure out where I could pick up a steering pin for my front strut. I had a buddy order my landing gear package for me about 4-5mo ago and just finally getting around to getting this build going and come to find out I was missing a pin. Also needed to pick up the 4mm set screws for my behotecs c36's since they didn't have those installed but easily found locally. Everything was new in package. No biggey but I'm hoping to find a steering pin quickly Who would be my best point of contact ? Anyone have a spare laying around ?
Oh and the current build/assembly is a UF in the swiss scheme with a K-140G for power. Saw quite a few of these birds and even flew formation with a couple up in Kentucky this past week and now I'm stoked to get this thing going Love the thread, lots of useful information !

The steering arms are CARF part # 630516

Not sure what the official Behotec part # is ???

Someone has mistakenly packed a trunion pivot pin and not a steering pin. If its a CARF gear set first point would be Andy K. But its a Behotec part.

I am building my second ultra flash after having sold the first one 2 years ago. Can someone tell me the lengths of the flap linkages? I can do it by trial and error but rather have the ball park lengths. I decided to use hitec 645MG servos for the flaps in the inner most hole, I reckon this is enough for the flaps????
Thanks in advance.

Spend some time setting the Flap pushrod length before fully screwing the cover plate down.
The threaded rod should be approximately 50mm long and a good starting point for the push rod centres would be 75mm. This is centre of ball link to clevis pin.Actually 72mm is about perfect.
Hitec...MMm Check for up travel current draw as if they are normal Ht servos it will vary!

No problem...hopefully most stuff is there, or email me any questions. I'm just building two Ultra Flash models for friends, so information is fresh :-)

Agreed! Those 645s burn up like bacon on a frying pan.

Hmm.. will change the 645MG servos with digitals. Toying with the idea of using a 180rx that I have, versus buying a B100F specifically for this plane... seems like a bit of a waste at the moment.

I'm only using the main and wing tank. I'd set my timer at 5:30 and go from there. I also have a 120SX I could throw in it, but I might opt for the 180 just to try something different as this is my third Flash (second Ultra).
