Thanks Dave and Doug. After posting the dowel Sat the cold bug hit me. It will be a few more days before I'm up to working on it. Or anything for that matter. Later.

Thank you so very much Dennis. It is people like yourself that add to the beauty and joys of this hobby. Now, If I could just get off this couch I have been laying on for the last few days.

The build is looking great Robert. Thanks for the kind words on that Ryan post. I might suggest a big bowl of Vietnamese soup (Pho') to get you back in shape, it's a cure all

The last couple hours I have started to feel a bit better. Off the couch and about a bit. Musterd up a trip outside and sanded the leading edge ready for the sheeting. But I am far behind on my duties so it will be hit and miss until probably Tuesday. And I will be picking up my trailer Friday or Monday.Whoo Hoo!!!! Can't wait for that, no more breaking down and reassembling.

Good to hear you're feeling better! Without you, of the only threads I am subscribed to, VJ is the only active one. Guess maybe I should get out a little more often.....
Take care,
David

Yes drac it is water based. David I can't say whether it is better than any other brand, only that it is more accessible. And having used Titebond for many years in the construction industry I have confidence in it's abilities through experience. That experience is also why I prefer #II over #I and it is also why I like the Titebond Polyurethane for hardwood adhesion versus epoxy. With the exception of firewall laminating and engine box building.

I agree with you Robert on Titebond II! I use it all the time. Another thing that makes it desirable is its ability to sand easily. All this at an affordable price...Has anyone heard from Anthony lately?

Been plugging away on the ARF Decathalon for a friend. Hope to have it ready for flight next week. Once that is out of the way I will start building my SW.
Later!!

I finished the sheeting on the wing last night. Somehow the wing ended up with a bit of a twist. So I have soaked the sheeting and countered the twist. It will probably take most of the day to work back out. So nothing going on here. And after this morning I will be busy for a few days so nothing else will be done until next week. Which is not totally a bad thing with RCU going under the knife this weekend.
