Default RE: A-10 Perso wood construction

Hola,
Finally today was the day of the maiden fly, after reviewing all systems at the A-10 flew well despite having a serious problem in the left aileron servo is locked to the Above and the whole flight (5 minutes) was performed with a single servo, right. This indicates the accuracy of the model and its weight only 18Kg. The landing to hurry because state over the aileron problem but no serious damage, just the basics of landing gear, nothing major.
I am very proud of the project and see that the model fly satisfactory, now just need to repair minor problems and perform a couple of flights over and then the painting phase.

Thanks for all the comments and words, I'm very proud that an A-10 can fly with only one turbine, I think it's unique in its class.
Sorry I can not better explain the feelings of the model, try to do with the photographs.

Saludos
Norbert

In this picture you can see the problem, the left aileron is up, and the right also to compensate, but entire flight left servo to the locked state.
The two servos up, airbrake and conditioned make the landing.

How strong are the aileron servos? They need to be 200 - 300 oz torque. Also, the scale trim tabs, 15 and 35 degrees, help the servo very much.

Hola
You are right, the current 190 oz servos are, I am going to change two of 297 oz, estimate the former were sufficient.
Thanks for the information!
Fly very well !!!!!!

Felicitaciones Norberto, esplendida demonstración de aeromodelismo de verdad!

There is a special sweet taste of a successful maiden flight of a self designed airplane, and even more a complex project like yours. Waiting for more videos and now for some extreme scale detailing..

Best regards, Enrique.

Hola

Thanks for the comments, there are 14 months of design, calculations and illusions, for making a first flight that I can described as satisfactory.
Enrique is to perform some flights, 5 minutes were very little, despite the problem of ailerons and then as you say do a good job of scale and paint.

Saludos
