RE: More diorama pictures.
Yep, I know what you are saying! I had about 52 diorama's...sold all but 6. They were all under acrylic cases to protect from dust. Sold them in their display cases.

You guys have some really creative dioramas. I only have a small area and change it very often for pix. Here are a few.

I normally do not do dioramas, and I do not claim to be in the same class as those shown already, but I was asked by my PH unit to do this one for the guy that was in the litter being evacuated. It is in 1/72 scale. He says he loves it, but it does bring back memories.

Whereas I do have some 1/35 from when I was a kid, those are all made to compliment my 1/16 tanks. The Pzr III is a HL with DBU and the M26 is a Tamiya FO. The Kubel is a Tamiya RC model. I have been customizing these for several years since there are precious few large scale soft skin vehicles for our RC tank hobby. I love disassembling the die-cast, modifying, painting and then super detailing them. I hope to do more now that I am retired and will have more time to devote to the hobby. I have so many projects and ideas to build. And then just as many tanks to finish. I change over the diorama about once a week or so. Usually when I build, buy, sell, trade, rebuilt a RC tank, figure or vehicle. It is only 4ft by 2 1/2 ft and I would like to make more elaborate displays. I may enlarge it this fall. It took me a little while to find a sand like earth then sift it for debris and sticks. I smooth it over each time with a large soft brush and prefer to have tire and tank tracks in the dirt for added realism. I'm sorry the pix are so messed up. The RCU site was acting up last night. Now I can't even edit or delete doubles of pix.
