Default Sherman re-fit

I was asked by Mart (ex-pat) to cast him up a couple of early mantlets for some of his future projects, so while I had the resin out I thought I'd do one for my M4a3...well it would be rude not to

...got it fitted and just needs a bit of filler and paint....

It's nice to see an early gun mantlet, there aren't many models around representing the early Shermans. I really like the prototype Sherman with the side by side fixed mgs in the glacis.

NICE work!

The early M34 arrangements are pretty interesting for sure.

Funny. But I already have that mantlet (Nicks) AND also a 105MM gun to stick in my Kelly's Heroes M3 halftrack too, making it a T19 'wanna-be'.

'Tanks' anyway!

Its not Nicks...

Sure it is, it's in resin and he poured it.

It's not the FOV part or that would be in metal.

I'm sorry, but that is incorrect.

I have both the Profiline M4A1/turret kit and Nick's offering and they are not alike or the same in any manner.

I would think I would know which kit I had bought - last time I checked Nick doesn't ship from the Czech republic...

Nicks on the right, Profiline on the left.

Indeed you are correct, the Profiline is on the left.

Anyway, thanks for posting that - I wasn't sure if Nick's part would be equally as suitable for my purposes, but I can see the Profiline one is a better start point for where I am headed.
