Nice, looks like it will be built as your previous Cromwell, i.e. assembled from several CNC sheets.
Good job so far.

thank you :-). jes you are right, but the front part of the turret will be a moldet plastik part this time, its a bit triky to scratch it so this will be a ready part.

here comes the towing part on the back plate :-).

Prima....I love it. I would have some British armor if they were not so damned slow. Please keep posting pix.

That looks more like driver error!!

One of our club members is knee deep in a Cromwell build and I have to say I'm pretty jealous, it's a gorgeous and unique Rc tank. Super detailed as ALL ludwig's / chris' kits are.

One day!!

Nice to see a Comet, the turret looks great.

Thank you :-)

The Cromwell slow? it was one of the fastest tanks in wwII.
But this is a lidel problem to relice in the Kit. The Kit is made for the 3:1 flat gearboxes from asiatam, these gears are strong but with the motor a lidel bit slow.
If you put in a standart gerbox you need to modivi it a bit.

Okay, without going to the website and figuring out all that's needed and doing the conversion over to US dollars...

... just how much (estimate) will a Comet in 1/16 cost? This is just for the kit, I would supply the gears, electronics and operational units.

(I just have to have a British tank!)

hi

i think the price will be around 430,- plus the moldet resin Parts for the turreet front and the track hould up weels, The Track and Gear is still missing this price.

so the kit price will be somthing around 600 usd i think. I knew thats not cheap :-(.

only the Plastic sheets for selvmade are aound 200usd i think.

I m abel to get an exact price when i have finished the work at the turret front and do have done the final chanches at the cannon.

Moin

Now im working on the final Prototyp and i want to use this posibility to show all how easy this kit is put together by everyone
Im want to show you that because i get often asked if im not able to sell these kits as a runner, but sadly i do not have the time for it and i im doning that its expensiv.
But i want that everyone knes after that report that he is able to do the same.

at the end of this report the Comet will be ready to get into the market.

At the beginning i start with the hull

puting inner and outer side togther

hull inforcement

Track cover

Puting all rest lower hull parts together.

you see, it isn t a big problem to come that fare

the next stepp will be the upper hull :-)

Looks easy enough. What springs and swing arms did you use for the suspension parts?

Moin

how i have saied here comes the development of the upper deck.
it is a lidelbit trikky, but if you see the fotos and compare your parts it should be posible for everyone.

This is the main plate of the upper hull.

bevor you start gluing you should put the parts togther and make sure everypart is on the right place

next stepp

the gluing prozedure

Front plates

inner traverse

The back parts, here the same first put toghther, hold it on the parts and if everthing looks right , start gluing.

finaly some lidel parts could be add now

this is the fin for today, next stepp will be the turret. :-)
