I wanna come and play at SJN's house. Looks to me like he and his buddies have a lot of fun with "stuff".

By rights, we should al be wearing "Hi Vis" flame retardant clothing, heavy gloves, head protection, Respirator filters, ear protection and fly the planes on a tether - just to be safe.

And our flying circuits should also be such that the plane is never poitning towards us - ever at any part of the flight (Think about the complicated turns in a circuit then - it can be done but the pilot needs to be standing at the end of the runway and the plane takeoff and land halfway down the runway.

Ok, I am ducking my head down now

Finaly got the engine in the air, and it runs realy well.
Have about 10 tanks through it, and it turns my graupner 22x10 at 6900 rpm.
I have ordered a PT carbon 22x10, as I think the nylon prop I have on now is too flexible.

Wow, I never thought we would ever see that engine take to the air. Now to see how long it holds up for you! Congrats.

Your right, I can not be 100% sure that the cylinder is perfectly oriented, and if not, that it might cause uneven wear on the needle bearings, and a whole lot of other nasty stuff

But it seems to run healthy at the moment.
You can be sure ill post an update if it fails catastrophically

Isn't that the engine with the rear rotary valve that has given some owners problems?

yes, it has a rotary valve....that will never wear out unlike the reed valve on other engines
