Strong little 09's just a bit better than a TD 09. Rossi have been making and selling them for over two decades I suspect.
One of mine has a head button for a 1/4" x 32 tpi standard plug. The other has a TD like head.
Should make an interesting diesel conversion. I know someone who had done this with some success.

I'd bet on the crank running directly in the casting, especially since a bushing isn't shown in the exploded view..
Regrettably I'm not in a position to strip the running one down to have a look. It's in a model.
My NIB one only cost about $52 from Planethobby on a sale, so they're cheap and cheerful!
