The great things about all BVM jets is that they are made well, there is no need to modify anything, all the parts fit together perfectly, and the jet will fly straight and true. Plus, the first flight needs little to no trimming-out.

Excpet, the UAT. If you have flame outs with "low rpm" as the off condition, replace the UAT with this:

I tried the JMP accumulator and multiple UATs. Each would work for a while and then I'd have another unexplained flame out. The CAT solved all my flame out problems. No cavitation, no bubbles in the system when I went to the CAT.

RE: Ultra bandit BVM build
Congratulations on your excellent build. I am sure you will have lots of rewarding flights with it.
The piece connecting the engine mount straps on top of the engine is actually supposed to be on the bottom to hold the engine in the center of the bypass tube during a heavy landing. It prevents the engine from shifting downward from the "G's" of a hard landing.
I have always called it a "Hat Section" because it looks like a top hat in profile.

Thanks Harley, this piece don't appear in the manual, i call bvm to ask a question about black metal strips and he answer me it's act of shim to tighten the force of collar on the turbine, because the first time i didn't mount the strips and the turbine slip in the alloy mount. I have to reinstall the metal strip to the bottom i think fly tomorrow. And thanks Ravill for the advice, i drill the hopper tank to put another brass nipple in accordance to the addendum on the BVM website who mention for large turbine add a second nipple.

Guillaume, Thats a beautiful UB... I have one coming in the Thunderbird scheme with both fins (straight and swepts).. I am interested in the eRetracts you were able to get from Lado-Tech. Can you guide me on how that was done? Did you send the retracts to them or you modified yourself with parts you got from them?
Thanks...
Thanks...

That is great.. can you send me the contact information so I can send the retracts to them and hopefully will have them back by the time the UB is finished and ready for assembly.. By the way are using different channels on reciever for each or you are Y-ing the mains into one channel and the nose in a different... Im using the specktrum 18QQ with a spectrum AR12120 so I can use the sequencer function for that and the nose door..

Very Nice Guiallaume. Tres Beau. Especially the equipment install.
Thanks for posting these photos. You are helping to convince me that I need one in my future.
