Futaba BS152 centre hunting
Hi All,
We started my friends brand new Krill Composite DA 110cc today and noticed a very funny servo hunting problem on the elevators. The elevators have BS152 rutabagas servo.
Both the elevators flutter a lot, one side ore then the other. But when the fuselage is tilted to a knife edge position, the flutter stops. But when we bring the fuselage back to normal or inverted state and give any side command to the elevators, it starts fluttering again when coming back to the centre.
It seems that it's trying to search for the centre to lock and cannot find it.
Can someone please advise what can be happening?
Thx a lot

RE: Futaba BS152 centre hunting
I may have an answer since these are digital servos it could be that the servo is constantly correcting itself around center. touch the control serface does it stop? If so then it will not flutter in the air as airloading will makie it stop. I had a similar issue with HiTec and that was the answer i got...I have flown the airplane alot with no issues
