CAN SOMEONE HELP ME IDENTIFY THIS BOLT??
Hi I need help finding this bolt it is from HPI I know what the bolt # is it says in the book it is part number 1662. But for some reason whenever I go to Tower Hobbies or anywhere I put that part number in and it shows up, BUT! it is a allen key bolt. The one I pulled out of my engine has a 4 slotted head for a regular screw driver. Just wondering if it is the same bolt and if it would be the same if I put it in my car thank you. Check out tyhe picture below. It is for the HPi rtr-3 and it is the head bolts which hold the aluiminuim heat sink on to the engine thank you. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXVL97&P=7
it is the head bolts. THank you

As long as it's the same length, size and thread, it'll work fine. Should be able to pick one up from your lhs, or auto specialty store. If the drive pattern bugs you, just get 4 and replace them all.

Ya, thanks dirt man but I still need someone to tell me for sure part #1662 is the head bolt for Hpi 15FE engine becasue I saw a different picture on the web than on my car. At Tower Hobbies(I posted the link in thread above), the bolt uses an allen key, and mine uses a phillips head and I want to make sure I am ordering the correct part becasue I do not want to wait a week for the incorrect part.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Keep in mind that they may have changed drivers on ya, the ones that you have on your engine are philips head, but just as Dirtman said, as long as the threads are the same you should have zero problems with it; just make sure that you don't cros thread the suckers, then it won't work at at all.
