FIRST SPAD
Hello All,
This is my first try into the Spad world. I've been in the RC hobby for several years and built many planes and just never realized how fast you could build a Spad. I like it. This is a simple design. (The Sassy Trainer Design). The only thing different is I added landing gear and ailerons. I haven't flown it yet. If it flies ok it will become my 10 year olds trainer plane.
I want to thank the Spad builders for sharing so many designs online. I will build another.
Charlie

RE: FIRST SPAD
Thanks SeacretsOceanCity,
This type of building is quite different from what I'm used to but I do enjoy building a complete plane of this size in a few hours. I didn't even see the Shrike in the pic until you mention it, LOL. If you have time to kill check out the Shrike II video in the video archive.
Hey SeacretsOceanCity, I just found a thread where you commented on the Shrike video. So you have already seen it. Thanks for that comment also.

That looks axactly like my SPAD SHORT (Simple Hell On Rails Trainer) that i designed last year, it was originaly designed for an LA40 but it flew much better with an OS20
