Has anyone converted there XXX-S to offroad?
Has anyone done this and if so how? I really want to do this since I have the XXX-S and I live in the country, where there is no pavement or cement.
Thanks
Tony

To my knowledge, no one has done it. I know there was a kit made for the TC3 to do it but not one for the XXXs, you could possibly sell it in out marketplace and buy a XXX 4 which is similar but not exact enough to perform a swap. I don't think. Once again, this is just a speculation as I don't know everything but I don't know of any myself to change it over but I do spend a lot of time reading about various conversions and the like.

the xxx-s is the same basic chassis as the xxx-4 i would not doubt it could be converted. The only problem being is that it would take a while and be almost as expensive as buying a xxx-4 kit

RE: Has anyone converted there XXX-S to offroad?
I have been looking it over and so far I have seen that I could do some light modifing if any to the chassis to except arms from losi's older modeled trucks. Then I would have to use some spacers to allow the xxx-s hubs to fit correctly. Once I get this attached I will need some axels, shocks, and springs. I have taken the wheels off the XXX-S and noticed that they are the pin setup fo the losi truck tires will fit.
I use to have a JRXT and I have some spare part left over and so far the part are of good use I think.
Thanks
Tony

RE: Has anyone converted there XXX-S to offroad?
I live in Michigan in the middle of nowhere. I have gravel roads and a yard. I use to work in a nearby city and there was a huge parking lot that I could put a R/C vehical show for all that wanted to watch. But I dont work there anymore and I need to have fun once again. This is why I want to convert my XXX-S to a offroad beast.
Thanks
Tony
