need help buying 1/8 on road
I want to get a on road 1/8 car that can go FAST. as fast as I can get. RTR won't work for me. I want to get an advanced kit that I put together and can be customized.
Currently, I'm considering the Mugen MRX-3 and the Serpent 950. Which one do you guys recommand? In addition, if there are better kits than those (in your opinion), please tell me too.
And lastly, I hope you guys can recommand me some good engines/radios to go with those. Remember, I need speed.
Thanks

If you're looking at those, perhaps you should also consider the kyosho fantom.

There's always the SMP Slide too.

I like the SMP Slide from the pic. It has lots of metal parts.
Do you consider it to be superior than the Mugen and Serpent? in terms of performance.
What' the price for the kit usually?

It's a nice car but I'm afraid that after the chrome parts get scratched I won't be able to polish it. Do they have metal replacement parts for it?

All the metal parts are aluminum and titanium. They are polished to a chrome like finish. With a little elbow grease, they can be kept looking like the pics.

Now that I bought the kit, can you recommand some engines, servos, and radios that is worthy of the kit? I don't want a high end kit but with inferior engine and radio.
Thanks.
Thanks.

in my opinion the best radio you could get would be a sythezized one with high torque digital servos JR's XS3 goes for about $300, the JR rs300 reciever goes for about $100-$150 and good high torque servos will run you from $50 to $100
