my friend's is blue but you can get black and chrome rear ones at www.miponline.com i'm not sure about the price though. the rear exhaust is so much better than the side because when you go to clean it, the back left wheel wont have crud all over it and also your rear left shock wont wear out faster than the other one when normally it does.

It matters if you want performance or strength. For performance get the traxxas blue pipe, and and another upgrade would be a motor saver airfilter, hitec 645MG stearing servo, or something like big bores.

But for strength, go with RD! they are by far the best, and you should see how great looking and strong there products are. www.rdracingproducts.com CHECK it out if you haven't so far. WELL worth the visit and money.

Does anybody know who make some good dogbone style axles for the rustler. Please don't say MIP I've been through to sets in a month. The factory half shafts last longer but they eventually get to where they won't slide in and out anymore.

I have never had a problem with them sliding in and out i've always had them warp and twist and pop off the universal balls. MIP sucks with there dogs I have had no luck with them NO SUSPENSION TRAVEL. they bind up and as far as I know there is no other companies out there that are making them. If anyone knows let us all know THANKS

I have had the shiny MIP cvd's for about six months now and haven't had a single problem. There are spacers to help set them up right and I can imagine if you don't use them you would have problems. I have not seen any others made for the Rusty.

Nice rusty. Still no luck I guess I will get some rear rpm arms and see if they will help. either that or I will just stick to factory and keep replacing those stupid halfshafts.

Yea it's got big bores on it. I plan on using evader shocks in the future.
I am using a steel braid cover kit that I bought off of ebay (steel braid and shrink tubing) it was like $6 or something ridiculous like that.
I plan on doing a thorough cleaning tomorrow and will get you some better pic's & possibly some measurements.
