Tam's getting back tomorrow?
Tam is getting back from China tomorrow, the 25, right? But I understand that he wont have any of the new Super Viper's with him. From what I hear, the new Super Viper's wont be shipped to costumers until mid to late September. Is this true? Gary.

Tam has extended his trip to continue design and testing. I believe he is now scheduled to be back on the 31st or 1st. I do not know the status of the viperjet availability. I'm sure he will post an update upon his return.

Oh, O.K. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing him on RCU for the last few days, but I guess that's why. Another question, if Tam leaves on the 31 or 1, will the new Super Vipers leave later too? Gary.

Sorry I don't know when the super vipers leave. Believe me I want one too...BAD.....
I played with the prototype kit.... the wing is so strong you could beat someone unconscious with it then plug it in and go fly... not that anyone would do that but I certainly would not worry if my kids were playing with it stepping on it or dropping stuff on it.. The skin is very hard to dent as well..

I talked to Tam over the phone, he kept me 58 minutes...and I'll spend 50% of my Viper's budged paying the phone bill
All I can tell is that Tam is extremely excited with his new Super Hornet, and all the things he when thought in China working against the time solving things that after all the effort, ended up in good results.
When you get to talk to him, ask him for the Chinese old man that kidnapped his F-18 after a dead stick landing in his property....and request him at the beginning about US$1,000.00 for rescue [sm=lol.gif]
If what he told me is true....which I think it is, the new Super Hornet have the wings 10% bigger than the Skymaster's, the fuselage is wider, is lighter and stronger. Same length. It flies like a dream and stall flat w/o any bad tendency. Titanium shaft for the elevators with bearings!!

I was analizing that option....and consider "could be possible", doing something simple that you can screw in place at the button of the wing.
A few questions regarding wing structure need to be ask to tam, since some cutting will be need to make to the wing for the air cilinders of the doors....

I want the shipment to be here as much as you.
After the factory using my tooling to built my Super Hornet. Their want to do the same to Super Viper Jet. So the time for them to changing the tooling cause 2 weeks delay from shipping date.
With preccission tooling set up. Now all the parts for Super Viper Jet are identicle. The wings, stabs and fins are exchange able.
When I left the factory. Their finish 80%. Cermak already schedule the container for leaving china on the 14 th.

So if the container leaves China on the 14th of September, it should arrive in the U.S. around the end of September, right? Then, how long will it take to clear customs? And also, how long will they be sitting in the factory before being shipped out to costumers? The new Super Vipers should start be getting to costumers around the end of October, right? Gary.
