Default RCGUYZ

Has anyone done business with these guys. They blew out a slew of auction items with no reserve, items such as a Revo for $240. Has anyone who won one of these auctions actually received their product. I bought a Savage SS Kit for $230 plus shipping. I've asked for a shipping number and haven't received it via email. I payed Wednesday of last week and I'm starting to get worried. Any info or dealings with these guys would be appreciated.

Could you email me a link to the auction at [email protected]. I've delt with them once before and everything was smooth sailing, it could be they didnt get a tracking # for you so they may just not be replying to your request for one, And they may of used 1st class shipping. It all depends on how the auction was set up and what options were available and which options you chose . When i see the auction i can give more advice

Since I open this post I've had a few emails form RCGUYZ. He sounds like he could be legit but I'm not quite sure. I'm posting the email chain, let me know what you think:

You may get screwed. I'm in the same boat. I bought a Jammin RTR buggy, which I'm pretty sure that he doesn't have, and I paid through Paypal. Well, he never shipped it and Paypal has his account suspended, so he says. I have filed a claim with Paypal and my Credit Card.

Oh yeah, He claims to have 7 of these buggies and I found out today that no buggies have even shipped to the U.S. yet.

His Ebay name TYLOT is now "UNREGISTERED'.

Good Luck and keep us posted.

It sounds like he made alot of sales then cooked up some crap about paypal freezing his account and then told you to ask them for the refund knowing it wouldnt be given before he closed his account, Thus taking the money and running and now ignoring your emails and what not. What was his feedback on ebay? Im sorry you guys are most likely out of luck. If nothing gets done within the near future i hope y'all have his address and everything so you can contact the local authorities and take some legal action towards him. fraud isnt a good thing to commit , If he is doing it i hope he learns his lesson the hard way.[>:]

Guys there is a difference. RCBOYZ is both on ebay and have a website (www.rcboyz.com) I've dealt with often.

The RCGUYZ is the bad one....

Have you notified RCU? If not you should do so immediately to help others from getting ripped of by these bums if that's what they are doing. I'm sure RCU will pull all of their adds and find out what's going on.

He is in Portage, Manitoba. I live in WInnipeg, and figured right away that he was scamming. He would not give me a phone number to call. When I asked if I could just drive there and pick up a buggy, he said PayPal first. He had a different account before Tylot, I cannot remember the name, however, the feedback rating was about 87%. He will pop up again, they always seem to. Ebay must have caught him, otherwise, he would still be a registered user. I guess people still dont realize that this crap is illegal, stealing is stealing. The old saying goes if it seems to good to be true, then you are getting bent over. I think that is how it goes......

OK - first of all I use paypal - and have not had any problems with them yet. All my transactions have been fairly small, but there are a few things I always check for when paying with paypal and receiving payments from paypal.

Anyone that buys from me must be:

Verified Buyer w/Paypal
Confirmed Shipping Address

Anyone that sells to me and request paypal payment must be:

Verified Seller w/paypal and previous & recent transactions done on their account.
-If I dont have the option to buy paypal buyers insurance then you can usually bet that they are not a verified seller.

Please for the love of god - protect yourself. Internet fraud has the highest crime rate out of any other form of crime in the US and other countries right now. It is to easy to get burned by buying on the internet. Please check out the following sites about Paypal. When you agree to their User Agreement you are signing away alot of your rights you would normally have with any federally insured banking institution.

PaypalSucks.Com

and

NoPayPal.Com

I am sorry for those of you who got or are getting burned - I hope this information helps you and other people from getting burned in the future.
